Intro

Order From Chaos

Within two years of deciding to leave the Grocery industry, I learned the Software Engineering fundamentals, finished boot-camp, and made a career change in favor of something that I am more personally passionate about. In the present, working with decentralized platforms and Web 3.0 applications has strengthened my love of Web Development. Hundreds of hours of research caused me to realize that I am in the perfect position to pivot towards this new thriving sector of Technology and though I am happy working where I am now, I’m looking forward to an exciting future.

I have always had a curiosity about the world around me. As a child I would pester my parents with endless questions as mundane as “how does the dishwasher work?” or “how old is the universe?”. As an adult, I have discovered a love of software. I thoroughly enjoy the process of building and coming to understand the software and technology that make up the digital world around us. Working to build the internet and use the various technologies that it encompasses is an incredibly rewarding endeavor and one that I feel fortunate to be even a small apart of. I look forward to the errors, failed tests, and debugging that comes along with any project. I find that it is only when things don't work out exactly as I expected that I learn anything new. The opportunity to learn and engineer software as a career is what motivates me the most and this journey continues to satisfy my curiosity by giving me the tools to enhance my own abilities to learn and develop new skills.

"Armed with preparation and armed with determination we pass these obstacles." - Ronald Mcnaire, physicist and astronaut.

Intro

Software engineer with a strong background in Java development and expertise across front-end and back-end frameworks. I specialize in full-stack, collaborating across the software development lifecycle to design, build, test, and maintain scalable, reliable, and user-focused systems.

Many years ago I decided I had enough of a career that did not value me as an individual. I embarked on a journey to learn new skills and become a better person with a better career. It was my passion for technology and my love of software engineering that gave me a path forward to a new horizon and a fulfilling career as a developer. It is this passion that carries me forward today.

After four wonderful years at Accenture, I seek to expand my horizons again. While I’m proud of what I’ve achieved at my current organization, I’m seeking opportunities where my skills, efforts, and growth potential are fully appreciated and aligned with the company’s vision. So it is with optimism and joy that I continue to learn to improve myself and my career.
